Missional Communities

Where Discipleship Gets Real

Missional Communities are smaller spiritual families learning to follow Jesus together in the everyday stuff of life. They're not just another program or Bible study—they are where discipleship becomes intentional, practical, and relational.

Why Missional Communities

Jesus said "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men" (Matthew 4:19), and He commissioned His followers to "go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). Missional Communities are one way we live this out—by growing as disciples and helping others meet and follow Jesus in the everyday stuff of life.

What They Are

  • A spiritual family—not a class, club, or event
  • A place to practice following Jesus together
  • A way to be formed as a disciple and live on mission with others

Core Priorities

  1. Abiding in Christ - learning to love and follow God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength
  2. Living on Mission - intentionally investing in not-yet-believers and helping one another grow in faith

How We Live This Out

  • Prayer and Scripture - listening to God and being shaped by His Word
  • Shared meals and life together - creating space for deep relationships
  • B.L.E.S.S.ing neighbors (Begin with Prayer, Listen, Eat, Serve, Share Stories) - serving and loving people around us
  • Gospel conversations - encouraging one another to share THE Good News in word and actions in a way that sounds like good news to the people listening
  • Dependence on the Holy Spirit - trusting God to lead, empower, and transform

The Heart Behind It

Missional Communities help us live "sent" into the everyday spaces where we live, work, and play. They create space to listen to God, respond in faith, and become a faithful presence in the Chelan Valley.

They're not perfect—but they are real. Real people. Real grace. Real transformation.

Missional Communities are one of the best ways to grow in your walk with Jesus, be known in authentic relationships, and live out your God-given purpose.
