Children's Ministry

We believe our children are not just the "future" of the church, they are the church. Kids matter to us and hold a special place in our church family. Their safety and formation are a priority. Thank you for trusting us with your kids.

Children's Church

Your kids are welcome here! Especially in the worship service. We have activity folders available with coloring pages, crayons and books. Know we don't expect your child to act like a grown up. They make sounds and do kid things. We want to uphold a family atmosphere:)

Almost all Sundays our kids are invited to attend Children's Church for a kid's Bible lesson, games and some good old fashioned fun. Our leaders, Michael and Lisa Pickett, invite kids to Children's Church following the first two of our morning's songs. We also have a nursery where we minister to kids too young for Children's Church. At the end of the service they will rejoin us in the worship center. Parents are also welcomed to pick up their kids early if needed.

The Last Sunday of every month we typically have kids stay with families for worship. We have a changing table in the bathroom and have quiet activities for younger kids to engage in. We know kids have a hard time sitting still and staying quiet and don't make a big deal out of it when they do. We strive to keep a realistic "family" atmosphere. Our pastor has been known to preach while holding a baby. Your kids are welcome in our services!

Children's Church takes place in the Next Door, our multipurpose teaching, meeting and gathering place. It's the little grey house with the red door on our campus.

Note: all of our children's ministry volunteers have been interviewed and thoroughly background checked by our leadership and it is our standard to have two workers present at all times. Your child's safety is a great concern of ours.
