The on-site fire relief center is set to conclude its services on Saturday September 12. That is not to say that there still aren't any needs present. We have simply entered into a new phase of recovery. We are urging our fire survivors to connect with the NCW Long Term Recovery Group led by Yavonne Povolos. She is the case manager for both the Chelan Hills Fire and the Little Giant Fire. This group is equipped to help you as you navigate the long journey of recovery.
Our church has sought to be a hub of help, information and resources in this time of tremendous need. While we may not be hosting the Fire Relief Center we remain positioned with a desire to come alongside our community. We are keeping our Chelan Hills Fire Response Fund open so that we can continue to offer assistance in the months ahead.
The Mansfield Community Church remains open as a resource and help center. They still have donated items available for families affected by the Chelan Hills Fire and
surrounding fires. They have food, toiletries, household essentials, and other needed items available for families who are recovering from the fires. If you or someone you know has been affected and needs assistance, please reach out. You do not have to be from Mansfield to receive help, and if you're unable to come to Mansfield, they will do their best to arrange delivery when possible.
