Kid's Ministry

We believe our children are not just the "future" of the church, they are the church. Kids matter to us and hold a special place in our church family. Their safety and formation are a priority. Thank you for trusting us with your kids.

Children's Church

Note: due to COVID we have suspended children's church and invite our kids to participate in our morning worship gatherings. Your kids are welcome here! In this season we are asking parents to keep children in their care while on campus. We have activity folders available with coloring pages, crayons and books. Know we don't expect your child to act like a grown up. They make sounds and do things. We want to uphold a family atmosphere:)

Every other Sunday our kids are invited to attend Children's Church for a kid's Bible lesson, games and some good old fashioned fun. Our leaders, Michael and Lisa Pickett, invite kids to Children's Church following the morning's songs. At the end of the service they will rejoin us in the worship center. Parents are also welcomed to pick up their kids early if needed.

On days when we don't have Children's Church we welcome kids to remain in our worship service. We have a changing table in the bathroom and have quiet activities for younger kids to engage in. We know kids have a hard time sitting still and staying quiet and don't make a big deal out of it when they do. We strive to keep a realistic "family" atmosphere. Our pastor has been known to preach while holding a baby.

Children's Church takes place in the Next Door, our multipurpose teaching, meeting and gathering place. It's the little house with the red door on our campus property.

Note: all of our children's ministry volunteers have been interviewed and thoroughly background checked by our leadership and it is our standard to have two workers present at all times. Your child's safety is a great concern of ours.
